This position requires the ability to service, inspect and repair sprinkler systems and fire pumps for established customers on a scheduled basis. Job duties include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and report.Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct scheduled service calls to customer's satisfactionTest and inspect fire sprinkler systems and fire pumpsPerform on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairsPerform duties of on-call shifts in a rotating schedulePrepare accurate and timely service tickets and reportsQualifications•MA Journeyman Sprinkler License required, also CT and/or RI license helpful•Knowledge of applicable fire codes and regulations•Valid Drivers License required•High school diploma or equivalent is required•Available for on-call rotation•Effective communication skills OSHA 10 cardBenefits•Competitive pay, including on-call stipend•Company vehicle to take home•Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance•Company provided life and disability insurance•401(k) with company match•Paid vacations and holidaysFire Equipment Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
