SUMMARY: The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for supporting the organizations dedication to inventory accuracy. Through the management of error reports, proper training and execution of Microsoft Dynamics transactions, and comprehensive understanding of lot tracking the Inventory Control Specialist will be expected to identify problem areas in process, operational execution, and systematic functions. Working in a cross functional environment they will be tasked with forming a cohesive understanding of inventory management amongst the team; requiring an active mind to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned as needed.•Design, evaluate and revise inventory and materials management processes, procedures, and reports for the purpose of improving and/or maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing overall finished goods and materials stock holding.•Investigate discrepancies between physical and systematic inventory by analyzing inventory transaction logs.•Perform root cause analysis on inventory reporting and implement corrective actions.•Review transactional history to ensure all material has a digital ledger that matches its physical life.•Understand material flow throughout the facility, help identify areas of excessive waste procurement.•Identify variances in production reporting to ensure material is deducted from inventory properly.•Cooperate with production, receiving, and accounts receivable to confirm transactions are being reported to the correct accounts.•Develop month end reports to present to staff on departmental progress and challenges.•Establish, execute, and monitor a building wide cycle count program. •Other duties as needed.INTEGRITY: Does not ethically cut corners. Autonomous worker & self-motivated.STRESS MANAGEMENT: Maintains stable performance and poise under pressure.PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred / Business Analytics, Administration, Supply Chain, or related field 2 years' experience in a batch manufacturing environment, chemical solutions organization, or Inventory Control Forklift experience preferred REQUIRED SKILLS Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Understanding of ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Dynamics SL preferred Analytical skills and attention to detail Experience and understanding of Microsoft Query and SQL Must be able to professionally and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization Maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications at all times Detail oriented, organized, and responsible PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS Ability to move about the production facilities with no limitations. Lift 50 LBS consistently
