to work for a leading Orange County Biotechnical company.

Purpose of Position You will play a vital part by actively contributing to accurate data entry and collaboration with clinics and hospitals, showcasing your skills in meticulous task execution. Your efforts will guarantee the delivery of top-notch results for customers passionate about infectious disease testing for all animals.

Salary: $20-22/hr. On-Site Role

Responsibilities: Data entry: enter specimen information into laboratory information system (LIS). Resolve and document any problem specimens Completes all paperwork required to process and submit specimens. Coordinate with clinics, hospitals, etc. for sample submission process Follows standard sequences/coding when entering data and corrects, edits, and/or verifies data. Package and ship orders of sample collection supplies for MiDOG customers, record sample IDs and tracking information in the laboratory information system. Ideally the candidate would be open to laboratory work as well, involving a lysis step of animal blood samples.

Experience: High School Diploma required, Associate Degree is a plus 1-2 years of experience in laboratory accessioning is advantageous Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Previous experience in a medical office or diagnostic laboratory is preferred
