Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOW Length: 13 Weeks Requirements:
  • MI license
  • Prefer 1-2 years Med/Surg Experience
  • AHA BLS
  • NIHSS
Others:
  • Nurse to Patient Ratio 1:4 or 1:5
  • Equipment utilized: EPIC, Pyxis
  • May be asked to float to other Med/Surg Units, ICU Units and ED waiting rooms
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical Exemptions Only
  • Locals Accepted
Prefer 1-2 years Med/Surg Experience BLS (AHA) Required, NIHSS Required Michigan RN license Will work every other weekend. May be asked to float to other Med/Surg Units, ICU Units and ED waiting rooms Nurse to Patient Ratio 1:4 or 1:5 Equipment utilized: EPIC, Pyxis About the Unit NVU is a 40 bed medical surgical unit specializing in the care of patients with neurological disorders such as Stroke, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis and other inflammatory disorders of the brain and spinal cord. We have a large spinal surgery population, which includes care for the post-operative neuro-surgery, ortho-surgery, Laminectomy and Spinal Fusion patients. Our unit also includes six step-down/telemetry beds and six bariatric beds allowing us to provide care to a diverse patients population. Last but not least, there is a four bed Neuro Monitoring Unit where we admit seizure patients starting at age 5 in an effort to find the cause of their seizures.

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
