Dialysis Technician

Description The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for job duties that include but are not limited to the following:Performs maintenance and operation of dialysis equipment and suppliesInitiate dialysis and care for patients during dialysis treatments Maintains inventory and a rotation system of reuse suppliesAssists nurses in monitoring dialysis patients and equipmentInstruct patients in self-care to prevent complications between dialysis visitsMaintains accurate patient recordsCommunicates and transfers patient information to the appropriate personnel Minimum Requirements Qualification:Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. LPN or MA preferred. The qualified candidate must be certified as a Dialysis Technician after 18 months of hire to satisfy federal requirements. Must be capable of working in close relationships with other colleagues and patients with chronic care needs.
