Tetra Tech's Disaster and Emergency Management operating unit is currently hiring for a Logistics Travel Coordinator. This position is an in office position based out of our Orlando and Maitland office locations. The selected candidate is responsible for supporting and coordinating all travel needs for our department, as well as any cost reconciliation that may follow.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Coordinating all travel plans and records for field staff (airfare, lodging, and vehicle rental).

Maintaining relationships with travel vendors/merchants.

Provide travel assistance when necessary to traveling staff.

Manual data entry of all airfares, lodging, and rental assignments.

Effectively communicating with travel vendors, supervisors, and employees.

QC, allocate, and reconcile all travel related charges to appropriate projects.

Attentiveness to active billing cycles with vendors and accounting deadlines.

Perform routine checks of ongoing travel reservations.

Be detail oriented

Be organized and have good time management skills

Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Can communicate effectively at all levels verbal and written

Be comfortable with doing extensive research for travel solutions

Be able to work extensive hours sometimes on short notice, including weekends, to support emergency response operations.

Be able to follow protocol and suggest process improvements where appropriate

Maintain a positive attitude and be willing to learn

Have a problem solving mindset.

Be comfortable asking questions when something is unclear

The ideal candidate will preferably have:

Experience using Microsoft Excel and Smartsheets

Experience working or negotiating lease agreements

It is understood that your employment is to be on an "at will" basis.
