**General Summary of Job Duties**

As a **Kitchen Steward** you will be responsible to make sure that all dishes, and cooking supplies are clean , and make sure that all areas surrounding are clean and well maintained.

**Essential Job Function and Duties**

* Washing of all dishes cleared from the dining areas.

* Washing of all heavy pots, pans, and cooking utensils.

* You may also be dusting, sweeping, and mopping various kitchen areas.

* Keeping an eye on the kitchen garbage emptying them as needed

* Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow team members, and vendors.

**Skills, Education and Other Requirements**

* Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a dishwasher is preferred.

* The ability to take and follow directions well.

* The ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

* Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

* The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.

* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
