OKCIC services not only include basic medical care, but also dental, optometry, behavioral health services, fitness, nutrition and other family programs.

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is hiring for a Licensed Therapist to join our Behavioral Health team.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducts biopsychosocial assessments with diagnosis.
  • Provides appropriate and competent individual, family, and group therapy for patients.
  • Consults with direct supervisor and other providers regarding assessment, treatment and case management services.
  • Completes appropriate referrals and applications for patients in need of mental health and substance abuse services.
  • Charts clinical data for diagnosis, treatment, referral, accountability in a timely manner.
  • May serve a role for specific grants that include grant duties.
  • Conducts surveys and assessments necessary for proposed and/or maintaining grant funding.
  • Participates in peer review for accountability and quality improvement.
  • Provides educational presentations on behavioral health topics, as schedule permits.
  • Meets the average patient access number of 5 patients per day.

Qualifications

  • Must align with OKCIC vision, mission and core values.
  • Due to the safety sensitive nature of this position, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for this position.
  • Behavioral Health Degree. (Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related behavioral health field)
  • 1 year directly related field experience
  • Must hold an unencumbered License to practice in Oklahoma or license eligible/under supervision (LPC, LADC, LMFT, LCSW, or LBHP).
