We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our cybersecurity team as a summer intern. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity while working alongside experienced professionals. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to various projects, learn about different aspects of cybersecurity, and develop valuable skills for a future career in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop knowledge of information security and cybersecurity systems, processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members on various cybersecurity projects and initiatives
  • Assist with enhancing incident response plan with digital forensic investigation procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain knowledge of business technology systems
  • Participate in meetings to gain exposure to various aspects of cybersecurity for the enterprise
  • Provide support to the day-to-day activities of the information security team
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science or related field
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, principles and practices
  • Familiarity with common security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, vulnerability scanners
  • Familiarity with networking and cybersecurity concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, NIST CSF
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
