Our comprehensive interview process is designed to not only evaluate your skills and experience but also give you a taste of what it's like to work with us. Here's a breakdown of our process:1. Initial Phone Screening: We start with a casual conversation to discuss the basic details of the position and to introduce you to our company culture. During this call, we'll also explain our interview process and answer any questions you may have.2. In-Person Interview with HR Manager: You'll have the opportunity to meet with our HR Manager to further discuss the position, your qualifications, and how you align with our company values.3. Background Check and Drug Test: To ensure the safety and security of our team and clients, we conduct a thorough background check and drug test as part of our hiring process.4. Working Interview:Part A: Day 1-Day 2: During the first phase of our working interview, you'll complete the First Sun EAP training. This comprehensive program familiarizes you with industry-wide professionalism standards through training guides, videos, and knowledge tests.Part B: Day 3-Day 5: In the second phase, you'll engage in on-the-job training specific to the position you're applying for. For example, if you're interviewing for a Sales Support Specialist role, your duties may include:Answering phones and recording messagesReceiving incoming calls from potential customers and documenting information in our CRM softwareFacilitating communication within the Sales DepartmentCreating and distributing marketing materialsMaintaining accurate records of sales activitiesDepending on your performance and the complexity of the role, this phase may be extended by another 5 working days. You'll be compensated at a rate of $12.50/hour for this week-long working interview. At the end of this stage, you'll have the opportunity to negotiate your starting salary with upper management as you transition into a full-time employee.5. Full-Time Onboarding: Once you've successfully completed the working interview stage and negotiated your salary, you'll undergo our comprehensive onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into your new rolePosition Overview: The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, installing doors and windows, building structures, and finishing work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the success of our team.Responsibilities:Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan carpentry projectsMeasure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to project requirementsInstall doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other carpentry components with precisionConstruct and repair wooden structures, such as walls, floors, and roofsPerform framing, including layout, assembly, and installation of structural framing componentsFollow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe work environmentCollaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standardsMaintain tools and equipment in good working conditionMentor and train apprentice carpenters as neededQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenterProficiency in carpentry techniques, tools, and materialsStrong understanding of building codes and regulationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and craftsmanshipGood communication and teamwork skillsPhysical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditionsValid driver's license and reliable transportationBenefits:Competitive salary401K after 90-daysHealth and Supplemental Benefits after 90-daysProfessional development opportunities and room for growth within the companyHow to Apply: If you are a skilled and motivated carpenter with a passion for quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you Please submit your resume and portfolio of work to [email protected].
