Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Qualifications Minimum Education • BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or other science specialty such as Biology, Chemistry, etc. • Completion of NAACLS program or Board of Registry equivalent. • Must possess education credentials necessary to satisfy CLIA ’88 personnel testing qualifications for a high complexity laboratory. • National certification/registration as CT, MLS/CLS/MT via ASCP, AMT, NCA or HEW. • Will consider board eligible graduate from a NAACLS-approved CLS or MT program.
