Hospital would like to hire someone on perm is possible. Looking to go temp to perm would work out well too

Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy Program.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Current W. V. Board of Respiratory Care Licensure required.
Two (2) years experience in respiratory therapy preferred.

Responds to all codes including Rapid Response.
Performs all aspects of respiratory care including oxygen therapy, oxyhood set up and management, aerosol therapy, oximetry, pulmonary function testing, respiratory care and general respiratory teaching including smoking cessation education.
Performs arterial and capillary blood gas sampling and quality control for arterial blood gas machine.
Performs electrocardiogram (EKG)and processing, 24-48 hour holter monitor set up and processing, incentive spirometry, PEP therapy and nasotracheal suctioning, chest physiotherapy, mechanical ventilation (including non- invasive positive airway pressure ventilation- CPAP, BIPAP) set up, management and extubation upon discontinuation of invasive ventilation, as ordered.
Responsible for accepting and accurately writing physician orders.
Performs initial respiratory physical assessment.
Responsible for computer use: order entry, charge approval, documentation and medication administration.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Responsible for clinical orientation of new employees, scheduling and equipment maintenance.
Participation in community projects for hospital and community well-being expected.
