We are currently recruiting an Electrician with at least 5 years of experience as a residential electrician, including 1 year in solar panels, to oversee our client's solar installation projects.
As an Electrician for our esteemed solar panel company client, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar power systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the seamless integration of solar panels into residential and commercial properties, contributing to a sustainable and greener future.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site assessments to determine the feasibility and specifications for solar panel installations.
  • Install, wire, and connect solar panels and associated electrical components following industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and identify any potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful completion of solar installations within specified timelines.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry advancements and best practices related to solar technology.
  • Some travel to surrounding areas may be required to accommodate various projects.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a residential electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and codes.
  • At least 1 year of specific experience working with solar panels, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, as well as electrical testing equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and continuously learn within the solar energy field.
Type: Direct Hire
Location: This position is based at our client's solar panel company, located Alexandria, La with the possibility of a relocation fee provided to candidates willing to move for the opportunity.
Pay Range: $27-30 depending on experience
