Production Planner

Location: Burlington, NJ

Leading spray drying manufacturer of dried ingredients located in Burlington, NJ is in need of a Production Planner to join their team.

The main function of this rile includes the coordination of production schedules for each dryer, inbound raw materials and packaging, and the shipment of finished product back to the customer. This position is the main point of contact with our customers once the product has reached a stead production phase.

Duties:

  • Evaluate customer purchase orders to create suitable production schedules for 6 dryers.
  • Forecast, create, and maintain production schedules based on customer requirements.
  • Use the ERP system for production job management.
  • Communicate with customer to arrange delivery of raw materials and shipment of finished products back to customer.
  • Calculate and communicate the amount of raw materials, packaging supplies, and production line time needed to produce the required amount of finished product for customers.
  • Coordinate supply chain activities with manufacturing operations.
  • Promptly inform the relevant departments and customers of changes to current production schedules.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing
