Title: Med Surg RN Auto Offer

Job Location: 2131 South 17th Street Wilmington, NC 28401

Shift: 12 HR NIGHTS; *36 hours only. Will accept 13-26 weeks.

JOB DETAILS:

Ratios: 1:6 for floor for surgical/medicine inpatient patients. Surgical Stepdown patients will be managed by stepdown trained nurse.

RTO: 7 days MAX; No RTO from 4/29 to 5/17

Float Requirement: when needed to like units

Weekend Requirement: every other weekend

Minimum Years of Experience: Must have 2 years of surgical unit experience.

Traveler Experience: Travel experience is preferred by not required.

Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes

Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response Teams, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac , External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
