Job Summary

To prepare skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair of the District's school buses (diesel and gasoline), vehicles, and other equipment. Employees in this classification receive general supervision from the Transportation Supervisor or his/her designate within a framework of standard policies and procedures. This job class exercises responsibility for the efficient repair and maintenance of the District's equipment. This job class performs technical skilled and semi-skilled mechanical repair work at a journey level of classification.
