She acquired early leadership training at The United States Military Academy at West Point; she later earned her BSN from Brigham Young University. In 2008, she earned her MSN from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed the NAPA SELECT program in 2017. When not working, Kartchner enjoys canyoneering, reading, and competing in triathlons.Advanced Practice Anesthesia (APA) leaders are unique to NAPA. As an integral part of our regional infrastructure, APA leaders are Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists who foster stability and collaboration among local facilities and teams throughout our organization. As an APA leader, Kartchner supports the Virginia Region.
