IT Intern

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the general direction of Information Technology Management, the position will assist one or more teams including applications, technology, or data analytics.

This internship is ideal for high-school or college students who are eager to learn and gain hands-on experience.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Information Technology

INTERNSHIP DURATION: 2-4 months (Summer/Fall)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES

Contribute to the hospital's mission through effective delivery and support of technology systems and services.

Provide high-quality customer assistance, documentation, problem resolution, and escalation.

Gather and transform business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive system solutions, including, but not limited to applications, programming, networking or desktop changes.

Assist with ticketing/request process, change control, documentation, and other activities as assigned.

Records, tracks and documents all work within the Information Services ticketing system.

Understand and enforce all data security and physical security standards.
