Job Description

Primary Purpose
Deliver a wide range of solutions related to the supply chain processes and engages key stakeholders to drive and improve service levels, strategy and decision making. Manage market intelligence framework.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead development and manage market intelligence (MI) framework in correlation with Company strategy, spent analytics and Supply Chain Management (SCM) vision including but not limited to:
    • Based on spent analytics and category data, create and update a comprehensive catalog of industry contractors/suppliers, and pricing models including, but not limited to, market share, growth projections, updates, cost escalation, earnings calls, trends, and market forces.
    • Manage market intelligence tools portfolio, actively search for new advanced MI tools, and complete comparison and recommendation for Company implementation.
    • Develop MI bulletin distributed on a regular cadence to share systematic analysis of key industry trends; general social-economic and political environment; legal and regulatory issues; commodity impacts; current and potential for wide company distribution to allow effective strategic and tactical decision-making.
    • Evaluate company’s approved vendor list based on spent analytics and category data. Analyze sources of material/equipment including operating and manufacturing location, geopolitical impacts, risks, and cost pressures.
    • Support the sourcing team and internal business customers to enhance their use of strategic analysis and market and competitor intelligence. Participate in tender evaluations and provide customer support backed by market data.
  • Develop and implement SCM internal audit framework:
    • Establish SCM internal audit framework to perform regular audits of data reliability and troubleshooting issues to ensure complete accuracy of reporting on which business decisions will be made. Actively collaborate with Company Corporate advisory and audit function to implement continuous improvement initiatives through internal audit framework.
  • Relationship Management (Internal External):
    • Establish effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers and counter parts across Company while also understanding, anticipating, and responding to their business needs, objectives, and challenges.
    • Provide guidance and resources to support the development of a comprehensive business strategies.
    • Work with Business Units to mitigate uncertainties by planning and forecasting future demand.
    • Ensure communication of strategic data throughout the organization.
    • Collaborate internally to ensure market intelligence is shared with key stakeholder groups and individuals.
  • Develop and implement spent analytics framework through the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources, developing functional and accessible dashboards that provide a holistic picture of business performance and actionable insights. Develop and implement communication strategy to deliver spent analytics information to the key stakeholders for action whilst clearly communicating risks, consequences, best practices and improvement mechanisms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field of study or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required. Degree in Data Analytics preferred.
Experience
  • 5 years of experience with data, analytics reporting and/or Supply Management required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of benchmarking and market intelligence.
  • Ability to conduct market research and bench marking across multiple teams.
  • Ability to handle data and apply analytics.
  • Ability to synthesize data into insights to inform quality decisions.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work across all levels of the organization.
