**Description**

**Nutrition Services- Retail Assistant**

**48 Hours Bi-Weekly, MON-FRI 9:30AM-3:30PM, 6 hours shifts 3 weekdays per week and every other weekend**

Performs activities related to food preparation and service for patients, employees, visitors and others to enable the department to provide services as required. Completes associated cleanup activities to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment. Nutrition Services is focused on Service Excellence. All employees must be willing and able to commit to Meritus Healths Code of Conduct and align duties with the Values of Teamwork, Stewardship, Accountability, Integrity, Advocacy, and Innovation.

**Requirements:**

Education - Graduation from high school or equivalent required. Two years proven customer service experience in lieu of education is acceptable.

Experience - 6 months to 1 year customer service experience required

Licensure/Certification N/A

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions required. Ability to weigh and measure ingredients and perform basic math calculations required.
