The Opportunity
One of our clients, a company that specializes in high-resolution aerial imagery and geospatial data, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a critical role in advancing their technology platforms. This position is an excellent opportunity to leverage your DevOps expertise in a fast-paced and innovative environment, where your contributions will directly enhance operational and strategic capabilities.

The Project
The company is pioneering in the field of geospatial data analysis and delivery. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be pivotal in automating deployment processes, ensuring high availability and security of the infrastructure, and contributing to a sustainable and innovative solution at a crucial time in the industry.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical development of the client's infrastructure, including cloud services and automation tools.
  • Champion an iterative development approach, driving innovation and technical excellence.
  • Balance the need for quick deployments with the creation of maintainable and scalable code.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate user needs into high-quality, efficient technological solutions.
  • Participate in architectural decisions that optimize for rapid testing and iteration while laying the foundation for future growth.
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex technical problems across the entire stack.
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies to enhance the capabilities of the platform.
  • Compile and review technical estimates to ensure project timelines and resource allocation are realistic.
Your Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in DevOps roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership in engineering, including mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and decision-making.
  • Expertise in full-stack development, particularly in cloud infrastructure management with AWS, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and automation with Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A passion for innovation and a drive to work in the geospatial technology sector.
