Job Summary:
Charlottesville, VA
Interim HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. ). This is a full-time contracted position with a pay rate of $58 per hour with day and night shift availability. You must have 2 years of recent and relevant experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), including recognizing and responding to changes in the patient's condition
- Monitor and document patient progress and treatments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documents
- Adhere to all hospital and nursing standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

- Active RN license in the state of Virginia
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PICU experience
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
