If this sounds like a match for your skills and experience, please apply todayResponsibilities•Work alongside our dental hygienists, multi-specialty Doctors, and administrative staff in composing comprehensive treatment plans•Instruct patients on the use of recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene•Conduct work that is compliant with office policies and procedures; safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines; and infection and infectious diseases control standards•Recommend and perform preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated•Supervise dental assistants, dental hygienists, associate dentists, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans•Determine and diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including root canals, surgical extractions, cleanings, and restorationQualifications•General Practice Residency (GPR)•NYS dental license•NYS resident•Current and unrestricted state license in good standing•A Doctor of Dental Surgery/DDS or Doctor of Dental Medicine/ DMD degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor's degree are required•Two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is required•Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in General Dentistry•Great communication skills and bedside manner are vital•Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS, and NPI•Up-to-date knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is desired
