PRIMARY PURPOSE

Performs the day-day support of IT related issues including various hardware and software applications. Manage support issues and client communications via phone, email, in-person utilizing ticketing solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle incoming calls requiring assistance with computer related problems.
  • Troubleshoot desktop related issues relating to operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other organizational applications.
  • Establish and maintain network users, user environments, directories, and security.
  • Configure and install desktop hardware, software, and telecommunications services.
  • Support Information Technology team projects and support requests including the tracking and reporting of milestones.
  • Communicate with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations issues.
  • Researches and evaluates new technologies. Develops and implements various documentation, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure that on site computer operating systems and anti-virus tools stay current.
  • Provide support for access to all systems and maintenance of access control profiles on computer network.
  • Respond to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.
  • Document internal procedures.
  • Light travel to branch sites may be required.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule including in addition to normal business hours in a 24 x 7 support environment. On-call after business hours as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficiency in Windows 10.
  • Basic Windows server knowledge.
  • Extensive knowledge of PC hardware.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of project management methodology.
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in an appropriate and timely manner with all internal/external clients
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in both verbal and written form
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Ability to manage time, resources, and set priorities to accomplish multiple duties
  • Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner
  • High level of commitment to exceptional service and client relationship development for internal and external clients.

  • Complete all required enterprise-wide trainings to keep current on regulatory and industry trends.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • 1-2 years of desktop support experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Technology and or industry specific certifications.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Office environment. Sitting for long periods of time. Daily use of wrists, hands, and fingers to use computer and telephone. Ability to hear and speak clearly for gathering and giving simple to complex information.
