Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health is currently seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist to join our teamSchedule: PRN on call coverageLocation: Based in Hillsborough County. However, will provide on call coverage for surrounding counties.The PRN Respiratory Therapist:Provides for the safe, efficient delivery of respiratory care and services, as well as educational instruction for patients, caregivers and Hospice staff as it pertains to respiratory treatments, supplies and equipment.Requires excellent clinical and interpersonal skills along with the ability to organize work priorities and trouble-shoot equipment.Position RequirementsEducation and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 2 years clinical respiratory care experience preferredLicensure:o Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Continuing Education: Biannual CEUs as required by the Florida Board of Licensureo Valid Florida State Driver's LicenseFor field-based positions, employees must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion.
