Senior Programmer

* 6 month contract to hire
* Remote but needs to be close to Jacksonville, FL office

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Programmer to join our team. As a Senior Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Technical Skills Needed:
* 5+ years of experience working in the Android / iOS ecosystem.
* Strong familiarity with modern mobile architecture patterns like MVC and MVVM.

Duties:

- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using various programming languages and technologies such as Linux, MySQL, C, Salesforce, VMWare, C++, ESXi, UNIX, React Express.

- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.

- Develop technical specifications and design documents.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and debug software issues.

- Perform unit testing and integration testing of developed software.

- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Senior Programmer or similar role.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C, React Express.

- Experience with Linux, MySQL, Salesforce, VMWare, ESXi, UNIX is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
