Position Overview:

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist with Sonography experience to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography and ultrasound, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both radiologic technology and sonography, as well as a commitment to patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Imaging:

Perform radiographic and sonographic examinations on patients, following established protocols and ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
Patient Care:

Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients throughout the imaging process, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort.
Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure its proper functioning, and report any issues promptly.
Record Keeping:

Accurately document patient information, examination details, and results in electronic health records (EHR) or other designated systems.
Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, including radiation safety measures, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
Quality Assurance:

Participate in quality assurance programs and initiatives to maintain high standards of imaging excellence.
Continuing Education:

Stay current with advances in radiologic technology and sonography through ongoing education and professional development.
Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification is required for the sonography component.
State licensure or certification as required by law.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer
13 week assignment
40 hrs
Variable days and possible evening and weekend shifts
On-Call in roatation with staff
ARDCS or RCS cert required
ND license
4 yrs of recent experience required
EMR: EPIC
ASAP start
