Position Title: Systems Analyst 2

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as an Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Code Analyst & Technical Documentation Specialist. This role involves understanding, replicating, and documenting Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code used in data analysis processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Oracle Database Architect/Engineer to ensure comprehensive technical documentation and accurate replication of procedures. Additionally, the candidate will extend their expertise to other modules such as Payment and Link Management, collaborating with various stakeholders including Data Analysts, System Engineers, and Engineering Techs.

Responsibilities:
1. Understand, replicate, and produce technical documentation for Oracle SQL and PL/SQL procedures utilized in data analysis tasks, including but not limited to generating statistics, factors estimation, and mandated reports.
2. Shadow the Senior Oracle Database Architect/Engineer to grasp the intricacies of existing processes and document them comprehensively.
3. Collaborate with users of data sets, such as Data Scientists, Architect/Engineers, and Data Analysts, to ensure documentation clarity, completeness, and relevance.
4. Validate replicated results against those generated in the production environment, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
5. Develop parallel non-Oracle SQL code to process data externally if necessary, ensuring seamless integration with the Oracle database.
6. Extend analysis and documentation tasks to other modules like Payment and Link Management, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
7. Conduct data cleaning, preparation, and limited data analysis and visualization tasks as required for comprehensive understanding and documentation.
8. Communicate effectively with technical audiences through both written and verbal channels, conveying complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PL/SQL development with prior experience in Oracle SQL.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when addressing technical audiences.
- Ability to grasp the big picture while attending to detail-oriented tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Familiarity with relational database design principles.
- Experience in data engineering tasks such as cleaning, preparation, and validation.
- Proficiency in scripting or coding languages like Python (with pandas and numpy) or R, especially in working with dataframes.
- Prior experience in data analysis and visualization techniques is preferred.
