Wheat Ridge Animal Hospitalis excited to announce we are looking for aCertified Veterinary Technician to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor for our Surgery and Neurology departments.
What will you do in this role?
- Work as a Technician in our best-in-class Surgery and Neurology departments, providing optimum clinical care for our patients. This includes ability to be on-call.
- Collaborate seamlessly with everyone in the hospital, providing help where help is needed despite formality of role definition.
- Function as a part of the Supervisor team, contributing to problem-solving, workflow optimization, and communication refinement.
- Oversee and approve timecards for the Surgery and Neurology departments, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
- Monitor and resolve conflicts between team members in real time so that patients receive the appropriate care, and the departments meet schedule obligations.
- Serve as role model, mentor, and coach for Technicians and Assistants anywhere in the hospital.
- An experienced Technician, able to run high-level anesthetic cases.
- A seasoned professional able to focus others on the most important clinical activities at the moment.
- An effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- An empathetic listener.
- An adaptive learner and effective teacher of others.
- Hourly compensation range from $27 to $36 hourly, commensurate with demonstrated supervisory experience as described above.
