Receptionist/Cashier

Receptionist-Cashier coordinates all communications with the public, assists the Office Manager with record-keeping and paperwork, processes all documents regarding parts purchases and facilitates payment of parts and service sales.  At this time we are looking for someone who would like to work weekday afternoon-evenings and Saturday mornings, full time or possibly on a rotating schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Answers all incoming phone calls, directs them to the appropriate party or takes a message.
2. Greets members of the public and directs them to the appropriate party or facilitates their requests.
3. Oversees service and maintenance on telephone system, postage meter, and other Sales Department equipment.
4. Responsible for knowing the whereabouts of all employees during the course of business hours.
5. Compiles and maintains files of purchase orders to be used to clear invoices for payment.
6. Files correspondence such as core reports, shipping memos, invoices, packing slips and other records.
7. Sorts and distributes mail daily.
8. Maintains a courteous and efficient image in dealing with the public.
9. Learns and performs additional duties as assigned

The Receptionist-Cashier reports directly to the Branch Office Manager

Qualifications:

Professional and courteous phone manner. Knowledge of general office procedures to include good clerical skills, typing, and calculator use. Good organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, basic knowledge of accounting principles. Experience with PC’s and general office equipment.
