If this sounds like a match for your skills and experience, please apply todayResponsibilities•Diagnose and treat patients with oral diseases with a focus on prevention•Provide dentistry services such as periodontal therapy, root canals, extractions, fillings, bridges, crowns, implants, sleep appliances, and ortho•Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive dental care•Use dental instruments safely and effectively to avoid accidents•Stay abreast with the latest developments in the dental field•Examine patients, obtain a medical history, and develop treatment plans•Monitor patient progress and maintain treatment records•Work with the clinic team to provide quality patient care services•Address clinical issues promptly and accurately•Implement and coordinate preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated•Instruct patients on the use of recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene•Refer patient to dental specialists such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriate•Manage dental hygienists, associate dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans•Assess the patients' overall dental health and look for presence of dental diseases, by thoroughly examining the patients' teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instrumentsQualifications•State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing•Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry•Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS, and NPI•DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor's degree are required•Should be computer proficient
