Opportunity:

As an Inventory and Shipping/Receiving Specialist at ASI, you'll be at the heart of our operations, playing a vital role in managing the flow of essential components and equipment within our dynamic workflow.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble part kits for production jobs
  • Complete receiving duties for incoming shipments
  • Prepare goods for shipping
  • May need to run errands for local pickup and drop off supplies occasionally
  • Work on packaging and crating standards
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely arrival
  • File claims for missing packages/damage
  • Reconcile reimbursements
  • Conduct cycle counting and inventory management regularly to maintain accurate inventory
  • Complete paperwork for all domestic and international shipments
  • Assist in any and all other purchasing tasks as assigned
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and update inventory as needed
  • Will be responsible for transacting inventory movements in ERP system to maintain an accurate account and traceability of parts
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLS
  • High School Diploma Required
  • (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain is preferred)
  • 2 years of Shipping and Receiving or Inventory Experience (preferred)
  • International shipping experience (preferred)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Export Documentation
  • Self-motivated

This position will be interacting with heavy equipment, so it is mandatory that all employees take a breathalizer test each time they're onsite at the mine.
