About the Role Pilates Reformer Instructor

We are currently seeking a Pilates Reformer Instructor to share our Vision to create the most imaginative, authentic and meaningful wellness experience. The function of the Pilates Reformer Instructor is to assist in the creation and implementation of new Pilates Reformer programs specific to the resort. The ideal candidate has a background in Pilates Reformer and group fitness instruction. This instructor will instruct and monitor the various physical fitness activities, provide personal attention to the guests needs, and safety. The Pilates Reformer Instructor reports to the Miraval Director of Spa and Wellbeing, as well as the Assistant Director of Miraval & Resort Programming.

The hourly rate for this position is between $16.00 plus commission.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 2 years of Pilates instruction experience

• Experience in Pilates program design

• Certified Pilates Trainer

• Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels

• College Degree preferred in Exercise Science and/or Personal Trainer Certifications and Group Fitness Instructor from ACE, AFAA, NASM, or ACSM.

• CPR and AED certified and first aid certification required

• Must have weekend availability.
