Role Description
Byram Animal Hospital (BAH), a 25-year privately owned small animal hospital, is looking for a Part-Time Veterinary Associate for our growing business in beautiful northwest New Jersey.We are looking for a compassionate, friendly, people-oriented, and highly motivated veterinarian to add to our excellent team.
We are offering 15-20 hours per week with no evening, emergency hours, or holiday coverage needed.A New Jersey Veterinary License and DEA number are required.
BAH is fully equipped with Class IV laser, High-Speed Dentistry, Dental X-rays, Ultrasound, an in-house lab, digital X-ray services, and Vessel Sealing surgical equipment.
We are lucky to have an amazing, supportive staff consisting of caring and hard-working receptionists and technicians. Salary is base of $110-115/hour or 22% Production, whichever is higher.
Qualifications
- Animal medicine, surgery, and diagnostics skills
- Knowledge of animal care and treatment protocols
- Experience in performing surgeries and medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with veterinary staff
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Licensing and certification as a Veterinarian
- Experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinic is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field
