City of Warrensville Heights EMERGENCY HIRE NOTICE Firefighter/ Paramedic The Civil Service Commission of the City of Warrensville Heights is accepting applications for the position of Emergency Hire Firefighter / Paramedic. Applications will be available online for completion and submittal through the City's website or by cliking on the 'Learn More' button on this job posting from March 31, 2024 to April 19, 2024. No fee is required. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver's license, a valid Ohio Fire Fighter II Course certification and a valid Ohio Paramedic Certification and submit proof thereof at the time of submitting the completed application. Applicants must submit a Physical Agility certification from Cuyahoga County Community College that was issued on or after April 19, 2023. The Physical Agility certification must be submitted no later than April 26, 2024. All letters of reference must be submitted prior to appointment. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and a maximum of 34 years of age at time of appointment.
