Job DescriptionHourly: $19.00Shift Options: 8:00am - 4:30pm 3:00pm - 11:30pmWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in a fast-paced correctional facility environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medication to inmates, maintaining accurate drug records, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure the safe and effective use of medication.Responsibilities:Dispense medication to inmates as prescribed by healthcare providersMaintain accurate records of medication distribution and inventoryCollaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any medication-related issuesPrepare and maintain medication orders, including the preparation of intravenous medicationsEnsure that all medications are stored and handled in a secure and controlled mannerFollow all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to the dispensing of medicationRequirements:Current Pharmacy Technician certificationAt least 1 years of experience as a Pharmacy TechnicianKnowledge of pharmacology and medication administrationAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefitsOngoing AssignmentMorning shifts availableOpportunity for Temp to Perm Staff with exceptional State BenefitsPaid Sick TimeDirect DepositWeekly PaychecksBegin assignment within 2-4 weeks of starting processNote: Due to the nature of the work environment, only candidates who pass a comprehensive background check will be considered for this position.
