Advantage Capital is seeking an Associate to join our dynamic and collaborative data team. One of the main functions of the data team is to use quantitative data to measure the community impact of Advantage's investments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, possess strong analytical skills, and have a keen eye for detail. As a Data Team Associate, you will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive business decisions and support various departments within Advantage Capital. Candidates with experience and general interest in economic development preferred.

Requirements

  • Broad understanding of Salesforce (e.g. Salesforce database structure, visualization capabilities, and interaction with other databases using API)
  • Salesforce administrator experience
  • Strong professional presence - ability not only to build a solution to solve a problem but to present findings and explain decision making to upper management
  • Technical skills: SQL, Python, Excel VBA, and Tableau
- SQL: ability to maintain synching, and write queries to build tables and views according to business line requirements

- Python: ability to write scripts for web-scraping, automated database synching, and other data science purposes

- VBA: ability to build functions that allow users to interact with SQL database

- Tableau: ability to reconcile live data connection with multiple data sources and design dashboards that cater to business line requirements
