As a leading provider of temporary healthcare staffing solutions, we are dedicated to connecting healthcare professionals with opportunities to make a positive impact in communities across the country.As a Neonatologist, you will provide specialized medical care to newborn infants who are premature, critically ill, or have other medical conditions requiring intensive care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for these vulnerable patients and their families.Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat newborn infants with a variety of medical conditions- Monitor and assess the growth and development of premature and critically ill infants- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed- Communicate with parents and families about their child's condition and treatment plan- Work collaboratively with a team of nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care- Attend deliveries and provide immediate care to newborns as needed- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans- Document all patient care and treatment plans accurately and timely- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in the field of neonatology- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environmentQualifications:- Medical degree from an accredited medical school- Board certification in Neonatology- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Nevada- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neonatologist- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-stress environment- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities as needed- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systemsWe offer competitive compensation and benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
