We provide a stable career environment and have set the pace in Cardiac PET for the past 15 years as the visionaries and the leader in advanced cardiovascular imaging.Job Type: Manager: Full-time/HourlyJob Location: Remote with travel to client sites throughout PennsylvaniaWhat will you do as a Lead Nuclear Medicine TechnologistBasic Function:The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for supporting and assisting the SPECT Division Operations Manager with overseeing the day-to-day operational activities to include but is not limited to supervision of staff, personnel scheduling, QA/PI, camera accreditation, ordering supplies, maintaining supply inventory, reviewing and implementing technical policies, account management, compliance audit management, patient care, technical and clinical needs, assists with staffing recruitment, and performing the function of a technologist in the field as needed. The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist must have knowledge in various equipment function/operation and radiation safety procedures. Must be able to suggest scan/process technique and identify areas in which technical quality can improve. In addition, this employee must demonstrate support for customer and corporate policies and management decisions. The employee is required to maintain CDL business and patient confidentiality. The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for appropriately applying the CDL Company Objectives of 'Best Appropriate Patient Care'.Qualifications:Required:* Must be a high school graduate.* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine* Must be currently Board Certified and in good standing by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (N).* Must have a minimum of four years of experience in Nuclear Medicine/Cardiology as a Nuclear Technologist.* Must have a minimum of one year of experience in radiation safety.* Must have demonstrated creativity in improving work routines and in completing assigned projects.* Must be able to communicate with patients, office staff, and physicians independently and effectively.* Must be readily adaptable to changes involving patient care, staffing, conflict, and emergencies.* Certified in Basic Life Support.* Bracco Rubidium Infusion System training and certification.Preferred:* Experience with desktop computers and software including word processing, spread sheets and databases.* Experience with managing Nuclear Medicine Personnel.Critical Performance Skill:Decisiveness, Spoken Communications, Assertiveness, Commitment to Task, Organization and Planning, Creativity, Team Building, Decision Making and Problem Solving, LeadershipWorking Conditions:Manual dexterity is required to adjust machine controls, arrange, attach, and adjust supportive devices. Ability to obtain satisfactory results by following set procedures and standards. Ability to contact patients who are under physical and/or emotional stress, in order to properly position and take test. Medium strength is required to position patients for examination or treatment. May lift patients or assist in lifting patients on and off examination table. Prolonged standing required most of the time. Some pushing, pulling, reaching, etc. required during work period. Travels between and works at multiple job sites. Electrical, magnetic, and ionizing radiation hazards are present.
