FLSA Status: Full-time or Part-Time, Exempt

Line of Authority: Reports to the Assistant Head of School (AHOS)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Essential Duties: operates the Schools infirmary following appropriate PA and Montgomery County DOH procedures; administers medication; daily management of chronic and emergent illnesses and injuries with accompanying documentation; organises vision and hearing tests; monitors and tracks infection outbreaks at the school; screens for head lice; is a key member of the Schools emergency response team.
  • Teaching: Health and Wellness classes.
  • Athletics: attends home athletic games to provide medical services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pennsylvania State Registered Nurse license.
  • Two years of experience as a licensed RN.
  • Recent paediatric or school nurse experience preferred.
  • First Aid, AED and age-appropriate CPR certification.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver license.
