Elliot Construction Company, Inc. is looking for an individual to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician you will be required to perform all types of electrical work in commercial construction, industrial, and healthcare environments. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be completing the following:Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Install and maintain electrical circuitry, branch circuits and feeders for electrical outlets and distribution equipment. Installing, bending, and threading EMT and Rigid conduit. MC Cable and otherTroubleshooting electrical circuits.Install electrical devices and fixtures.Install electrical distribution equipment.Install lighting control systems.Reading blueprints, drawings, schematics, specs, and other reference material.Receive and complete work orders.Capable of working with and training Electrical apprentices.Able to work with minimal supervision.Operate tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures.Versatile to work in commercial and industrial environments.QualificationsMust be able and willing to work as a part of a team.Willing and eager to learn and grow themselves and the company.Kentucky electrical license is recommended but not required.5+ Years of experience recommended.Valid drivers license.Own your own hand tools.Proficiency with NEC and local codesMust be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.Benefits/CultureToday, we are listed among Engineering News-Records Top 150 Specialty Contracting firms.
