Thrift Store/Warehouse Job Type Full-time Description

REPORTS TO: Resale Manager

RATE OF PAY: $16.00 per hour

HOURS: Full Time at 40 hours per week, Non-Exempt

Store Hours: 10:00am 6:00pm Tuesday - Saturday

LOCATION: Renton, WA

**As Retail Associate you will:**

* Greet customers as they enter and depart the store

* Screen and accept incoming donations. Followed by filling donation receipts for donors.

* Separate and sort incoming donated materials.

* Tag, price, and arrange merchandise for display.

* Replenish stock and keep display area in order.

* Sell merchandise to customers and give information about products and prices.

* Research information about products offered and prices.

* Provide shopping support to customers by answering questions about our products, addressing the needs of customers.

* Operate a cash register and Point of Sale system.

* Market sales events by posting on Social Media.

* Take inventories of needed merchandise and reports to manager.

* Perform simple clerical work as needed.

* Work with volunteers and is able to give clear direction.

* Open Store/End of day closeout.

* Resolve customer complaints and ensure client satisfaction.

* Perform other duties assigned.

Requirements **Thrift Store candidates should have the following qualifications:**

* Active Christian Faith and the ability to sign statement of faith.

* Ability to operate a point of sale system preferred.

* Excellent customer service skills.

* English Proficiency

* Knowledge of clothing brands and fashion preferred.

* Knowledgeable of merchandise in the store.

* Personable, honest and trustworthy.

* Reliable and punctual attendance, with availability to work flexible shifts.

* Sales experience preferred.

* Intermediate computer skills with understanding of how to research items on the internet and post items on Social Media.

* Solution oriented and a go-getter with a can do attitude.

* Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment.

* Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* Ability to stand for periods of time.

* Ability to lift 35 lbs.
