Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required. • 36 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required. • 12 months of travel experience is required. • Experience with Epic is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Massachusetts license in hand at the time of application. • This role will require floating to multiple units • Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role. • COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted. • COVID booster required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th). Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis). ** Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW ** Rotating Shifts Required: All Day positions are “Day Rotate.” Day rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts when needed. Night shift does not rotate. No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem. Floating Required: Yes, when needed (mostly Medical/Surgical Units). Telemetry competency required. RN to Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity. Patient Population: All. We care for a wide range of adult patients with diagnosis such as Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory failure, Cardiac arrest, Renal failure, DKA, and cardiogenic shock. 2+ years of continuous work experience in one location, preferably a MICU. *** Must be able to read tele strips ** 1 reference from last 24 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type)1 reference from last 24 months (Charge/Lead reference type) Proof of identification required Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support) • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Skills Checklist: Yes References: Yes License Type: registered License State: MA Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support Job Details
