Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking a board certified Per Diem Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician. In this position, you will join our team of 9 physicians who care for a wide variety of pulmonary disease and provide 24/7 coverage to our high intensity critical care unit. You will have an opportunity to provide outpatient pulmonary care, ICU coverage and contemplative consultation as well as perform pulmonary procedures as bronchoscopy, endoscopic bronchial ultrasound (EBUS), Wang needle biopsies, pleural taps and other. We have our own as well as oversee other regional accredited pulmonary function testing sites and accredited sleep centers. We have a closed ICU that is also supported by a 24/7 team of midlevel providers. Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is committed to making healthcare work for the people of Maine. It is a 411- bed, regional tertiary care and ACS verified level II trauma center serving a patient population of 500,000 living in the northern two-thirds of the state's geography.
