**Fairview Range is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care unit in Hibbing, MN.** The RN will deliver direct nursing care to patients as well as indirect care, and also is responsible for unit operations for a shift when functioning as charge nurse. The Registered Nurse (RN) works alongside our Hospitalists to provide life-saving treatment to patients who are critically ill or injured. The ICU is adjacent to our Acute Care unit, treating medical/surgical/pediatric patients. Each patient room is equipped with telemed capabilities. **Schedule:** This position will work 72 hours per two weeks. Seize the opportunity by applying today **Apply today to join our 34,000+ employees and 5,000+ system providers working to build lasting relationships with the people we serve: our patients, our communities, and each other.** As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for: + Performing a total systems assessment according to established policies (including physical, psychosocial and spiritual data) upon admission, as well as ongoing assessments. + Analyzing assessment data, identifying problems and developing the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, significant other and resource personnel. + Providing age specific direct patient care in collaboration with all subject areas according to standards of care. **Required Qualifications** + Current ICU experience + Current Minnesota RN licensure + Current BLS certification and maintains certification. Current ACLS and BCS or acquires within 3 months of employment and maintains certification. Current PALS or acquires within 6 months and maintains certification. **Preferred Qualifications** + Recent Critical Care or Emergency nursing experience, current pediatric experience, current charge experience. + Critical Care experience within the last 3 years. + Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing If no applicants meet the qualifications, consideration will be given to those with 2 years of medical/surgical experience.
