The Java Tour Driver is responsible for managing all aspects of the Java Monster Sampling Truck program in one of three business units (West, Central or East) and must live locally to the home base of that BU. Responsibilities include strategic planning of routes in collaboration with brand, sales, and marketing teams within the region. Properly maintain the vehicle both inside and out, book travel, manage expenses, develop relationships, build culture and be a brand ambassador. Must maintain a positive attitude, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional spatial awareness. This individual will be organized, can adapt to changes and new situations, as well as possess the ability to safely operate tools and hardware needed to fully execute their program.

Essential Job Functions:
•Deliver, set-up & breakdown the Java Monster truck to all scheduled events and pop-up events as received.
•Set-up & breakdown of brand event assets at select events as needed.
•Able to be on the road for long periods of time.
•Observe and comply with all traffic regulations - federal, state, and local.
•Be presentable, punctual, and professional at all times as a representative of Monster Energy.
•Maintain, service and clean equipment, warehouse / workspace, and vehicles with necessary tools / equipment.
•Maintain event and warehouse site (janitorial services, mop/sweep, crowd control, restocking product, etc.).
•Superior attention to detail.
•Must be able to work in various settings (warehouse, off-site, in the office) and in any weather conditions.
•Must be able to work in a group setting, as well as independently.
•Performing other duties that may be assigned.
•Perform pre-trip inspections checks on the Java Monster Truck driven to identify and repair minor faults, and to report major mechanical breakdown to a skilled mechanic.
•Maintain a logbook to record miles covered and hours travelled and ensure that all necessary documentation with respect to freight is filled and submitted. Also, record damages and shortages incurred. In addition, make sure that all receipts are kept safe and secure.
•Assist with load on/off equipment & product as assigned.
•Loading & unloading Tractors/Trailers both manually & with Pallet Jacks.
•Ensure that all MEC vehicles are always neat, tidy, and polished, and carry out other regular upkeep like inflating the tires, refueling, changing oil and water, and tightening nuts and bolts.
•Maintain all Vehicle Trip, Fuel and IFTA Logs as required by DOT
•Meet Customer Service expectations in regard to daily communications, problem resolution and appropriate follow through.
•Operate equipment in a safe manner and follow all safety regulations and precautions.
•Communicate with the dispatcher, supervisor, or clients using wireless devices or on-board computer systems.
•Report any delay that may affect the timely delivery of freight to the dispatcher and client.
•Report any damage incurred during transportation to the supervisor
•Pay tolls and other necessary vehicle levies.
•Perform other duties that may be assigned.

Position Requirements:
•Must live in the territory that you are responsible for and within reasonable distance from "home base".
•High School diploma or GED preferred.
•2 - 3 years prior professional driving experience preferred.
•Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
•Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
•Must be able to lift at minimum 50 Lbs. and more.
•Must possess a Class C License, maintain DOT requirements, and maintain a clean driving record.
•Must submit to Federal Pull Notices.
•Ability to operate hand trucks/pallet jacks.
•Basic mechanical aptitude (vehicle maintenance, etc.).

Salary USD 68,000.00
