You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Significant past experience as a professional carpenter is highly preferred and a positive attitude is a must Responsibilities: Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environmentStudy specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plan to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials requiredMeasure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gaugeShape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power sawsInstall structures or fixtures, such as windows, doors, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power toolsInteract with customers in a professional and friendly manner Qualifications: Previous experience as a professional carpenterMust have an understanding of basic math, architectural measurements & dimensions, grades & elevations, and commonly accepted means & methods of concrete formwork carpentryAbility to read and correctly interpret blueprints, and to follow layout provided for the proposed workShould be skilled with & be able to safely operate/use all carpentry tools including tape measure, rotary laser, string line, circular saw, levels, hammer & nails, chalk line, rotary hammer, square, etc.Must be able to lift 40 lbsComplete our short application today Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Generation T is a movement of organizations, launched by Lowe's, committed to rebuilding and changing public perceptions of the skilled trades in America.
