Penn Stainless Products practices on-going process improvements to ensure that we supply our customers with the highest level of stainless steel products and in-house processing. We are seeking a diligent and detail orientated individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk

This Position reports to the Quakertown, PA location Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.

The main task of this position will be to manage Multi-State Sales Tax filings and exemption statuses through the entire process. Prior Accounting Experience with emphasis on Accounts Receivable will also be beneficial knowledge in this position.

Other job duties:
  • Assist in the data entry of new customer information into SM3 System.
  • Assist in maintaining customer information through adding ship-to information, address changes and tax exemption status.
  • Assist throughout the accounting department with various clerical tasks.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and data entry skills
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in standard office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel


Requirements

Associate degree in a business related field or High School diploma or GED and over 2 years of experience in an accounting clerical role. Prior business office experience required.
