Position DetailsCertification: Pharmacy TechEmployment Status: Full-TimeShift: DaySpecialty: Pharmacy TechPerform under supervision a variety of routine and advanced technical duties related to preparing and dispensing drugs in accordance with standard procedures and techniques.DutiesRetrieve and interpret medication ordersPerform pharmaceutical calculations, taking into account patient and drug characteristicsEnter medication orders into a pharmacy computer system for pharmacist's reviewLabel and fill medication to the appropriate patientReceive and triage information requests; research and provide information where appropriate; refer other inquires to the pharmacistInventory, order, receive, and stock drugs and suppliesRetrieve discontinued or expired medications from stock and patient areas; discard or return to stock as appropriate; complete corresponding documentationAssist other technicians in performing complex procedures and/or calculations as requiredPerforms related work as assignedSupports and executes the mission, ethics, and goals of the company effectivelyRepresents themselves in a positive and professional manner in the company and communityAdheres to dress code with a clean and neat professional appearanceReports on time and as scheduled in order to complete work within the designated timeAdhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook, Employees Agreement, or communicated from the executive team
