Tallahassee is home to two state universities, Florida State University and Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. TCC strategically partners with the universities to afford greater opportunities for all students, faculty, and surrounding communities. TCC also partners with area businesses and organizations to meet local workforce needs that align with the colleges degree, certificate, and workforce programs.
Faculty responsibilities include instruction, curriculum, service and support of college policies and procedures, and professional development. Starting salaries for instructional faculty positions are competitive and commensurate with degrees and experience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree (in any field) and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT) and appropriately credentialed for the content areas they teach and knowledgeable subject matter through training and experience and must be licensed in the State of Florida. A minimum of two (2) years in Clinical Respiratory Care as RRT is required.
Successfully candidate must be able to provide and complete drug and health screening, and a level II background check.

TEACHING NEEDS:
This position is primarily for in-person, on-campus courses taught a variation of days (Monday through Friday) on Main Campus in Tallahassee, Florida.
Courses needed are time blocks during the morning, mid-day, and afternoon. A small amount of evening options may also be available.
